It is a pleasure to introduce you to the Rockland Community Foundation. We are the newest of17 other community foundations across the state of New York.

The nonprofit Rockland Community Foundation is donor-driven and exists solely to help ensure Rockland County achieves and sustains as a desirable place to live for all individuals now and in the future.

The Foundation serves the community in the broadest sense but with a focus on issues of critical importance to all citizens of Rockland County.

We are structured as an umbrella nonprofit organization so that we can serve many types of donors and enable all nonprofits, should they choose, to take advantage of the Foundation’s endowment management services to gain more for their organizations.

Our goal is to build a permanent endowment as quickly as possible and reach out to nonprofit organizations and individual donors to consider putting their funds under the Rockland Community Foundation.

We eliminate the need for individuals, groups, organizations and municipalities to spend time and money to establish their own 501(c)(3), and enable them to utilize the Foundation’s to raise funds.

This Web site provides our story and we trust after you have had a chance to read through it you will have a better understanding and appreciation the Rockland Community Foundation.

Whether you are a potential donor, a professional advisor, a member of a Rockland nonprofit or an interested citizen, we invite you to drop us a line (email or mail) or call us.
