The Rockland Community Foundation offers non-profit organizations the opportunity to apply for grants to any of our funds.  We support a broad and diverse range of issue areas including the arts, education, community development, conservation, health, and human services.  Our grant-making is local and  Rockland County wide. Representing donors through separate funds that make up its endowment, the RCF encourages a sense of community by channeling much-needed resources to area organizations.

Educating our youth is a value that we all share. The single most important component to assuring quality in the classroom is the classrroom teacher.  Recognizing this, the Foundation is proud to offer Innovative Teaching Grants to Rockland County Teachers of students in grades K-12.

Each year, The Chazen Spirit of Rockland Scholarship recognizes a deserving high school graduate in continuing their education at a four year college of their choice.

The Active Cares Fund provides assistance to families in critical situations. Applications are reviewed monthly. There are two applications, one for individual assistance and one for assistance to organizations.
